Penberth Cove Hand Dyed Superwash Merino and Nylon 4 PLY Yarn

‘Penberth Cove’ is a beautiful hand dyed yarn inspired by the cove where I live, it consists of yellow for the wild Gorse flowers, green for the trees on the road down to the cove, brown for the rocks and turquoise for the sea. 

A blend of Superwash Merino and nylon which is perfect for socks or shawls.

75% Merino Superwash 25% Nylon
4 Ply Sock / Fingering Weight
425m / 100g approx.

Can be knit on 2-2.5mm needles for socks or larger needles for scarves or shawls.

Hand dyed in small batches in my garden studio with professional acid dyes. There maybe slight variations between skeins. If using multiple skeins in a project I recommend that you change between skeins to get an even colour distribution.

This is yarn can be machine washed but I recommend hand washing in a wool wash in cool water and laying the item flat to dry. A small amount of residual dye maybe released on first wash but this should be minimal.
